Allendale Elementary School

3201 Oakwood * Melvindale, Michigan 48122 * (313) 389-4664

Educational Options

Section 21f of the School Aid Act expands access to online learning options by allowing any student in grades 5-12, with parent/guardian consent, to take up to two online courses per semester. The online program allows for courses to be chosen by the parent and student from the State Catalog. At this time, the district does not provide courses in the District Catalog. The course must be taken for credit and fulfill graduation requirements. The course can not be used to replace a course in which credit has already been earned. The link for the State Catalog is https://micourses.org

Further information can be optained by contacting the school principal.
